KEYNOTE SPEECH TOPICS

Below are some of the keynote topics that Annette has brought to various nonprofit organizations, corporations, and speaking programs

Book Annette Today!

The Poise of Provocation

From her first TEDx talk, Annette challenges audiences to rethink what it means to stand tall, speak out, and redefine leadership from the inside out. Tying her experiences as Miss Texas, a legislative advocate, and a corporate employee, she encourages audiences to be bold, but to not confuse volume with value.

Lessons from a Loser

Though Annette is known for her many wins, she redefined what winning meant to her after suffering incredible losses. From losing her mother right after to college to losing the Miss America competition, Annette inspires audiences to recognize there is something to win within and after a loss.

EmpowHER: The Next Generation

The world needs more female leaders in every space. Whether you are in high school and figuring out your career path, or a young adult unsure how to propel yourself in your career, or a career executive wondering how to empower the next generation of female leaders, this talk will ignite your flame to be an impactful leader.

The Crown Redefined

Annette made history as the first immigrant to win the title of Miss Texas and subsequently placed first runner-up at Miss America, only the fourth Miss Texas to accomplish such a placement. In addition, she earned $60,000 in academic scholarships, assisting her as she pursues a law degree. After only competing in pageants in two years beginning at age 24, Annette became a notable and viral pageant queen, gaining nearly 30,000 in 48 hours and working with major brands. Most notably, she made an impact on so many young women who are now inspired to compete in pageants and lead their community. In this keynote, Annette details her journey to the crown and encourages young women to not only see the personal and professional development pageants can bring, but also how to elevate themselves to be authentic leaders and role models.

When Stories Become Strategy

As a sibling autism advocate, Annette partnered with nationally recognized nonprofit organizations to rewrite legislation to benefit individuals with autism and their families at every level of government. Her secret? She just shared her story. In this talk, Annette reminds audiences that they are already equipped to affect change through their personal story, and teaches them how to use their story to impact legislation and strengthen their communities.
